England’s test pattern Ben Stokes has revealed that he left the alcohol during the recovery of a rope injury and returns to the high form. England made this decision to be fully prepared for the next five-party test series against India and the ASHES 2025-26 series against Australia.
Stokes has been treating a recurring left injury. He first suffered the injury during the August and lost the series of tests against Sri Lanka. The whole returned to the action during the Pakistan tour, but the injury reappeared during the New Zealand series two months later.

Speaking of the podcast without exploding, Stokes admitted that the injury was a shock. The pattern revealed that he had not consumed alcohol since January 2. He stated that he made a personal commitment to avoid drinking until he completed his rehabilitation and returning to the field.
“After my first major injury, I remember the shock, after the initial adrenaline, thinking:” How has this happened? We had a little drink four or five nights ago, could you play a piece of paper? He would not have helped, “Stokes said.
