Wales took another step towards the grade for the World Cup of 2026, as they survived a severe test in Astana to beat Kazakhstan 1-0.

Wales is the first J group with 10 points out of five games. North Macedonia is second with eight points that played one less game.
Belgium is third with four points of two games in his clash with Minnows Liechtenstein. Wales will face Belgium next month in Cardiff in the game that will probably decide who will automatically move forward in the Finals of J. Group.
