Eight people were accused of corruption, money laundering and participation in a criminal organization after a probe of suspicion of bribery in European ParliamentThe statement on Friday said in a statement to Belgium.

Belgian prosecutors said that corruption had been “very restrained” since 2021 under the guise of commercial lobbying and participated in payment for political positions or excessive gifts such as food costs and trips or regular invitations to football matches.
Prosecutors said that they were said to have benefited Huawei.
Huawei said it perceives the allegations seriously and will urgently communicate with the authorities to fully understand the situation. He also stated that he had zero policy for corruption or other violations.
On Friday, the prosecutor’s office stated that the accused people were kept under electronic supervision, two were released and three remained under arrest.
