Both T Dilip and Soham Desai were part of the configuration of the above coach headed Rahul Dravid. This team was renewed after Dravid refused to extend his term as a main coach after winning the T20 World Cup last year. According to a new BCCI rule, support staff that serves for more than three years are not eligible to continue their services, and both Dilip and Desai enter this category.
