Speaking to PTI, a BCCI official said they have talked individually with foreign advice, and franchises are also in conversations with the players. He added that they expect most players to return. Said:

“We’ve been talking to foreign boards individually while teams treat directly with their players. We hope the majority will return.”

Chennai Super Reis CEO Kasi Viswanathan said they are in conversations with foreign players and that tomorrow they will have a clear picture. Added:

“The revised program was announced last night. We have just contacted our foreign players about their availability. Tomorrow morning we will have a clearer image. Anyway, our game is May 20. We have enough time,” said CSK’s CEO, Kasi Viswanathan.

Another team official admitted that the players from abroad were scared but that the situation is good now, they wait for players to return to IPL 2025. He said:
