Mayank Yadav’s so awaited return to IPL 2025 became a major fall, and now serious questions are asked about how his comeback was managed by the BCCI and the Super Giants of LuckNow (LSG).
Mayank Yadav, who hit batters with 150 kmph thunderbolts last year, finished his IPL 2025 campaign after only two games, and now has arisen that he rushed too soon.
After being out of action due to an injury for months, the young sense of rhythm was erased to play after only 10-12 bowling sessions at the BCCI (COE) center of excellence.

What is shocking is that a piece of these sessions was at a small intensity and did not even reach 100% until the end of March.
Despite this, Mayank received the green signal to return to the IPL 2025. When Mayank joined the Lucknow Super Giants in mid -April, there was a buzz around his comeback. But the team played it for sure and did not include it in game XI immediately.

His return finally arrived on April 27 against Mumbai Indians. After just two games, the Pealer was ruled out of the tournament. The fingers are now indicating at the BCCI’s COE and the LSG, especially since fast bowling is their weak bond this season.
The sources now revealed that both BCCI and LSG are responsible for Mayank Yadav breaking again.
Above all, the fast diaper received the permission of Dhananjay Kaushik, the new sports science head, after almost a dozen sessions under the belt.
The Times of India said a source that said that “for a bowl that had such a long absence of the game, it is amazing that he took the COE with only 10-12 sessions to give him a green signal. One third of these sessions was at a small intensity and began to overturn at 80-85% only by the end of March.”
The source added: “Get a true image only when operating on full inclination and then take long enough to evaluate how the body responds to augmented workload. This workload is gradually increased to observe and evaluate how the body reacts to different levels of intensity. With Mayank, it seemed that the simple boxes were marked.”
In the meantime, when Mayank Yadav joined the LSG camp, there was a slight swelling on the back and a strong gravity was used to prevent sudden cramps. But the real concern was his speed and bowling action.
The pace had lowered at least 10 kMPH and, instead of burning deliveries, he trusted more in slower balls and cutters, showing that the Pealer was not close to physical fitness.

The source added: “It is bewildering why its action is not yet approached. His body continues to fall to one side after the landing, and this impact will continue to add stress on the back. It is like a car running at 150 kmph and taking a sudden turn on the left.”
“The rhythm it generates is due to the natural gift of the bowling of the bowl of the bowling arm. The action must be addressed and it needs a proper rehabilitation plan, which should not have any anyone interference: franchise, state team or anyone.”
LuckNow Super Giants interrogated Mayank Yadav on his rhythm fall and why he did not regularly turned on the days that did not agree to stay at the pace.
The diaper explained that he was doing his best, but he could not push beyond a limit, following a routine set during his rehabilitation at the center of excellence. However, it is believed that this conversation has sealed fate.
Sources revealed that LSG lost confidence in its recovery and performance, and the decision to release it was taken shortly after. It is unlikely Mayank to stay for the next IPL season.
