The BCCI was expected to appoint a new field coach ahead of England’s tour. However, the Council has decided to reintegrate T Dilip, according to a report by Indian Express. The Council has also received a one -year contract.
T Dilip becomes the field coach of India again:
The report stated that the BCCI wanted to appoint a foreign field coach. However, the Council did not find a suitable candidate. As a result, T Dilip has been named as a field coach.
“We have decided to designate Dilip for a year and will travel with the Indian team of England. His contract so far is for a year,” said a BCCI source in The news outlet.
Dilip’s first stage with the Indian team began by 2021 when Rahul Dravid He was appointed main coach. When Dravid and his group’s mandate ended after the T20 World Cup in 2022, it was only given until March 2025.
Dilip is quite popular with Indian players and also hit the protagonists during the 2023 World Cup with a unique method. After each game, he used to deliver a medal to the best camper in India, a process that gained great esteem from the fans.
The ex -India’s filler, Ravichandran Ashwin, also made him as his celebrity coach and praised him to improve the team slippery.
