BCCI breaks the silence about the open critique of Kohli in the Diktat family

“At this stage, current politics will remain intact, as it is of primary importance for both the nation and our institution, the BCCI. The BCCI acknowledges that there may be different resentment or opinions, as in a democratic configuration, people have the right to express their opinions.

“Policy is evenly applied to all team members (players, coaches, managers, support staff and all involved) and has been implemented with the best interest of everyone instead.”

“The new policy is a modification of the previous one, with additional provisions on the presence of players in practice sessions, concordance schedules, visits, luggage, team movements and other auxiliary activities, all aimed at the goal of team cohesion and unity.”

Devajit Saikia added that the duration of family members’ stay on a tour have also increased. He emphasized that they will do so through a proper process.

“The BCCI has increased the duration of family members’ stay with players during visits abroad, with provisions to relax the rules in special circumstances, but this will be done through an appropriate process,” he said.

India will be the next journey of England for the five -game test series. The series will be reproduced after the IPL 2025, from January 20.
