Previously, it was informed by India that the Asia Cup 2025 is in danger, as the Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) has refused to attend the Asian Cricket Board meeting (ACC) in Dhaka.
The BCCI demanded that the ACC meeting move out of Bangladesh due to the close political relations between India and Bangladesh, but the President of the ACC and the PCB, Mohsin Naqvi, was forceful for Dhaka’s meeting.
The PCB tried to pressure on BCCI on the issues of the Asia Cup holding the meeting in Dhaka even after the Indian Cricket Board received the support of Sri Lanka, Oman and Afghanistan.
However, the Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) has been forced to change its position and is now planned to attend the Asian Cricket Board meeting (ACC) in Dhaka.
A toi journalist confirmed that BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla will attend the ACC meeting on Thursday, July 24, to discuss the affairs of the Asia Cup 2025.
