BCCI announces new high rates for Team India Jersey’s sponsorship

The Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) has increased the sponsorship rates of t -shirts, which makes it more expensive than the brands are associated with the Indian team. This decision has been made after Dream11 marked its departure as a sponsor of the Indian Government Online Games Law of 2025.

The cricket is the largest sport in India, as it contributes a large amount of income to the Indian government, and the BCCI is the richest of all cricket boards in the world. The largest franchise tournament in the world, the IPL, is under the supervision of the Council, while it is the Indian owners who now have various teams from different leagues.

Very ventured sport has reached a new maximum, as the Indian Board has made some calls to offer new sponsorship offers to the brands after Dream11’s departure.

According to PTI reports, sponsoring the Indian team is scheduled for more costs, the BCCI increased the amount of 3.5 INR crore per game for a bilateral series and INR 1.5 crores for a game in multilateral events.

Siting industry sources, the report added that these figures are slightly higher than the current rates of 3.17 RS crores for bilateral games and 1.12 Rs for multilateral matches.

According to Cricbuzz’s latest reports, these figures will be applied to competitions that will be held by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Asian Cricket Council (ACC).

Dream11 departure after the Inline Government Online 2025 Games Act

Development took place after Dream11’s departure as Jersey’s sponsor, which was triggered by the Government’s Online Games Law of 2025. After the Government Law was launched, the BCCI canceled its main sponsor’s contract, Dream11.

New regulations have banned companies that deal with real games and cryptocurrency of the process due to a prohibition from the government of these entities.

Dream 11 Being a similar application, recently closed its real money games due to the “ promotion and regulation of the online games law 2025 ”, which states that “ no person will offer any help, help, abet, induces, it is deduced, participates in offering online money game services or will involve in any announcement that promotes anyone directly or indirectly to play any online money game ”.

The BCCI invited offers for the rights to sponsor the Title of the Indian team on Tuesday after Dream11. With this review, the Board is expected to win more than 400 CRORSS INR in the agreement, although it may be larger as the final figure would only be decided based on the tender results.

The potential agreement could be landed to take effect only after India finishes its Asia Cup campaign. The Asia Cup is scheduled to play -from September 9 to September 28 at the United Arab Emirates. September 16 is still the date of closing of the survival of the offer.
