“Basic Instinct”, star “Swat” Danny Arndt is dead in 86

Arndt was born in Isakwa, Washington, February 23, 1939 – which his family noted in the same year when the classic movie “The Wizard of Oz” was released and for the first time made the use of Technicolor in the cinema.

“It was like a dad’s life,” his family wrote. “It began in black -white color and bloomed into life color, shine, brave adventures and passion.”

Arndt served as a pilot of the US Army helicopter in the War in Vietnam and twice was awarded a purple heart. After leaving the military, Arndt flew on helicopters to Alaska before moving to Seattle, where he started his acting career after a friend convinced him to listen to the local theater.

“Of course, Dad got a major role,” his family wrote. “And he was brilliant. He moved his shine, passion and devotion to the second career of the actor, both on stage and on the screen.”

Armen’s family noted that “spent several seasons at Shakespeare’s Festival in Oregon” in Ashland before starting a career in Hollywood.

The actor made his debut on the 1974 television film “Escaped on the Ron River”, and his early television career included speeches in “The Wonder Gys”, “Muldity, she wrote” and “Life goes on.”

Arndta survived the wife of 45 years of Maggie Dazhni, his seven children and “many grandchildren, great -grandchildren”, as well as his niece.
