Denis Arndt, an actor nominated for Tony Award Questioning Sharon Stone He died in the “basic instincts”. He was 86.
Arndt died “peacefully in his bed” in his long -standing house in the cabin in Ashland, Oregon, Tuesday, his family announced In the obituary Posted on Wednesday.
“In his own way, Dad lived in his life as a complete and generous performance, known for his incredible wit, charm, rebel spirit, incarcaity, sense of humor, tenderness and passion for his art,” the Arnd family wrote.
“His heritage, both on stage and abroad, will live in the hearts of family, friends and community members,” they continued. “He was charming, beautiful, present at the moment, spontaneous and magnetic – a real man of revival.”

Arndt was born in Isakwa, Washington, February 23, 1939 – which his family noted in the same year when the classic movie “The Wizard of Oz” was released and for the first time made the use of Technicolor in the cinema.

“It was like a dad’s life,” his family wrote. “It began in black -white color and bloomed into life color, shine, brave adventures and passion.”
Arndt served as a pilot of the US Army helicopter in the War in Vietnam and twice was awarded a purple heart. After leaving the military, Arndt flew on helicopters to Alaska before moving to Seattle, where he started his acting career after a friend convinced him to listen to the local theater.
“Of course, Dad got a major role,” his family wrote. “And he was brilliant. He moved his shine, passion and devotion to the second career of the actor, both on stage and on the screen.”
Armen’s family noted that “spent several seasons at Shakespeare’s Festival in Oregon” in Ashland before starting a career in Hollywood.

The actor made his debut on the 1974 television film “Escaped on the Ron River”, and his early television career included speeches in “The Wonder Gys”, “Muldity, she wrote” and “Life goes on.”
Arndt played husband Mary Tyler Moore The title character in Annie McGuir series from 1988 to 1989. From 1990 to 1991 he played a role in La Law David E. Kelly. Later, Kelly threw Arndt into a number of other legal dramas, including “Picket Boops”, “Eli Macbil”, “Practice” and “Boston legal”.

It appeared in the 1995 drama “How to Make an American Quarter” and 2001 sports drama “indisputable”.
In 2003, Arndt starred as a sergeant. Gadard in the movie “Swat”, the movie “Topical Thriller”, based on the eponymous series of the 1970s.

In addition to their speeches in Kelly TV show, the later TV works Arndt included guest roles in “Anatomy Gray”, “CSI: Investigation of the crime scene”, “disappeared”, “supernatural” and “good struggle”.

The last screen-screen work of Arndt included the performance of the 2018 guests in the television show “How to Get Murder” and the role in the short film “The Do-Over” 2023.

“As the final curtain, we said goodbye to our dad, knowing that he earned a standing ovation for the wonderful life he had led,” the necrologist concluded.

Arndta survived the wife of 45 years of Maggie Dazhni, his seven children and “many grandchildren, great -grandchildren”, as well as his niece.
