Bangladesh and Afghanistan in conversations for the white ball series in the Arab Emirates joined in October 2025

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) are in advanced discussions to interpret a series of white balls in the Arab Emirates united in October 2024. According to a Cricbuzz report, the proposed route will include three hatred and three T20is, but the exact dates of the series have yet to be confirmed.

Afghanistan and Bangladesh were originally interpreted in a series of full rights in July 2024, with two tests, three hatred and three T20is. However, Bangladesh later requested a postponement due to the concern about players’ workload.

In response, the Afghanistan Cricket Board proposed a revised series of white balls, including three hatred and three T20is, in the Great Numa, India, during July-August. However, it was also preserved due to the concerns about the unfavorable monsoon climate and the Bangladesh Banglad -‘s jam.

Afganistan and Bangla desh are expected to play a series of white balls in early October, which include three hatred and three T20is. After the series, Bangla desh will host the West Indies at the end of the month, while Afghanistan is scheduled to resort to Zimbabwe.

The T20I series will help both teams in their preparations for the 2026 T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka, giving them the opportunity to finish team combinations.

This will be his first T20I meeting since the 2024 World Cup clash in Kingstown, where Afghanistan defeated the Bangla Tigers to reach his first semifinal at a CPI event. The two parties last met in November 2024, when Afghanistan won the series Hate 2-1.

BCB’s Cricket Operations Director Shahriar Nafees confirmed that the conversations are underway with ACB to finish a series of white balls, which had been postponed by the beginning of 2024. Nafes also mentioned that the two test games, which were part of the original calendar, would be played later.

“We are in discussion with ACB about the white ball series that includes three hatred and so many T20is that were re -programmed in early 2024. We will play the two remaining test games at some other time that adapt to the two boards,” said Shahriar Nafees in Cricbuzz on Friday.

Shahriar Nafees stated that the series is expected to take place in October, although the site is yet to be completed. He clarified that the three -party three -game hate series was not part of the tour that had been reprogrammed by 2024.

“Although the site is still completed, the series is likely to be reproduced next October (2025) if everything goes according to the plan. Before we also played three hatred against Afghanistan, but this was not part of the tour that was re -programmed in 2024,” added Nafees.

In the meantime, the spokesman for Afghanistan Cricket Board, Sayeed Naseem Sadat, confirmed the development, but refused to share more details.
