Awards Season 2025 Calendar: Save the Date for Oscars, SAGs and More

Awards season is upon us, and Us Weekly save the date for the Oscars, Grammys and all the big ceremonies in 2025.

First up are the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards in January, which share many nominees including Angelina Jolie (Maria), Demi Moore (The Substance), Timothée Chalamet (Complete Anonymous) a Cynthia Erivo (Wicked). Emilia Perezstar Zoe Saldana a Selena Gomezamong the most nominated films at both awards shows, scoring 10 nominations at the Globes and another 10 at the Critics Choice Awards.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to awards season. The SAG Awards, Oscars and more will honor films while the Grammy Awards will bring together the biggest names in music. See the dates, hosts and nomination details for the biggest awards shows of 2025 below:

January 5: Golden Globe Awards

February 2: Grammy Awards

In response to the Los Angeles wildfires, the Recording Academy sent out an announcement to members on January 13, that the Grammys would be a fundraising effort. “In close cooperation with local authorities to ensure public safety and responsible use of area resources, the 67th telecast of the Grammy Awards on CBS on February 2 will proceed as planned,” the letter read. “However, this year’s show will have a renewed sense of purpose: to raise additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and to honor the courage and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours.”

February 7: Critics’ Choice Awards

Days before the Critics’ Choice Awards took place on January 12, the ceremony was postponed until January 26 and then pushed back to February 7 due to the ongoing fires in Los Angeles. “This tragedy has already had a huge impact on our community. All our thoughts and prayers are with those battling the devastating fires and with all those affected,” CEO Joey Berlin stated in a statement.

The 2025 Critics’ Choice Awards will go ahead despite multiple postponements due to the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires. February 16: BAFTA Film Awards
