Butler and Gerber first sparked romance rumors in December 2021 after they were spotted attending a yoga class together. At the time, only a source was revealed to Us Weekly that the pair were dating, adding, “It’s still very new.”
Five months later, the couple reaching a major milestone when they did their red carpet for the first time in the 2022 Met Gala. Gerber celebrated the Gilded Age theme with a metallic Alexander McQueen dress while He chose Butler an all-black Prada suit for the big event.
Next year, a second source said only Us that it was Butler and Gerber very “safe” in their relationship – and that her parents are famous, Rande Gerber a Cindy Crawfordapproved of the match.
News broke in January 2025 that the couple had split over the holidays.
