McDonald said that while she sometimes greeted fans at the stage door, she has chosen not to run in Gypsy For “saving energy” to be able to “go through the next show and the next show and the next show.”
“Actors, as much as we would love to greet all of you after a show, sometimes we are exhausted and it is difficult. There are a million reasons,” the actress explained.
He continued, “There are many reasons that performers do not make the stage door. There are shows that I have done and shows that I haven’t done. Some of the reasons are: they’re exhausted, some people get concern about making a stage door, some people are urgently to catch trains so they can get home, some people avoid the stage door for health reasons.”
