Plaza Aubrey is scheduled to be a presenter at the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 5.
Plaza, 40, was publish as one of over 40 presenters for the 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards on Thursday, January 2. The show will be broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
One day after Plaza was announced as a presenter, her husband Jeff Brothers was found dead at their home in Los Angeles on Friday, January 3. Us Weekly the indie screenwriter was later confirmed die by suicide. He was 47.

Big deal,” Plaza said of her and Baena’s wedding during a December 2021 appearance on the The Ellen Degeneres Show. “We got a little bored one night. The Agatha On alum added, “I created a very quick love altar in our yard. The facts of our love, small stones, smoke, fire. Things of that nature. Then the man from Alhambra showed up in a Hawaiian shirt with a briefcase (to perform the ceremony). … I can’t remember much of it, it was a blur. But I’m pretty sure it’s legit.”

“My first film was a great learning experience in all areas, etc working with her was a plus because we have a short hand and a close relationship,” Baena said of his wife in an August 2022 interview with him News week.
“As I’ve done more and more things, I’ve come to appreciate everything she brings,” the late filmmaker continued. “She’s insanely talented and so smart and obviously very good at producing. And she writes. Very few people can wear as many hats as her, as elegantly as she does.”
At the time, Baena further gushed over his wife, saying “everything she does is amazing,” adding, “People generally say she’s the best part of whatever project she’s in. in it.”
He concluded, “She’s, like, insanely talented and I’m very lucky to have her in my life.”
