Aubrey Plaza broke her silence on Monday, three days after the death of her husband, Jeff Baena.
“This is an unimaginable tragedy,” she and the Baen/Stern family said in a statement provided to Fox News Digital. “We are very grateful to everyone who has offered support. Please respect our privacy at this time.”
The director and writer committed suicide on January 3, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. He was 47.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that authorities responded to a call outside Baena’s residence on Friday. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the Los Angeles Police Department told Fox News Digital.
