At least three deaths associated with electricity shutdown

At least three people were killed in Spain in an incident related to a large -scale reducing power that closed the country on Monday, the BBC Civil Guard reported.

They died in the northwestern municipality of the tabadel and were from one family, according to Spanish media.

Police are reportedly investigating whether carbon monoxide plays from a defective electricity generator at their death, but civil guard cannot provide more information.

Officials are still working to confirm what caused the reduction of power that caused chaos through Spain and Portugal on Monday.

The trio, who died in Tabadel, was a marriage couple and their adult son, reports a newspaper based in Madrid El Pis.

Their bodies were found in their beds care workers on Tuesday, reports El Pis.

Other deaths are under investigation, including a woman in Madrid, who died in a fire, which may have been caused by a candle used during darkening, local media reported.

A woman in the fifties was found dead on the night of Monday after a fire in a building near Karabanchel.

Thirteen people were treated with smoke inhalation, including five who were taken to the hospital, the city emergency information service reports.

Valencia reportedly died a woman who is forty, although Spanish media has no clear consensus on her death.

Local police suggested a woman who suffered from the lung state, died after the IVL that she used lost power during the shutdown, the media reported.

However, El -Payis referred to regional health sources, which said the woman had suffered from a number of health conditions and that had died of natural reasons.

The blackout caused huge violations throughout Spain and Portugal. Andorra and parts of France were also injured.

In Spain and Portugal, the traffic lights stopped working, Metro Systems stopped, and the businesses failed to make payments to the card – causing huge queues for several cash machines that were still working.

Initially, mobile phone networks also went down, leaving numerous receipts for information.
