At least three dead in New Mexico Flash Flowing

At least three people died in the village of Rudas, New Mexico after heavy rain, caused a flash outburst.

Up to 8.8 cm (3.5 inches) of the rain fell, causing the Raidas River to the historical level. Now the floods have retreated.

A man and two children were killed after local officials confirmed on Tuesday night.

A press secretary of the village of Rudas Kerry Gladden said that the crews for search and rescue CBS still remained on the field, and for people who are looking for missing family members, a hotline was created.

Ambulance crews in Ridas spent at least 50 rapid water rescue in the area, and residents called for higher land.

Personnel in social media, shot by local artist Caiter Carpenter, showed that at least one house swept away from floods, and Raidas Mayor Lin Cruford was unable to confirm how many houses were lost.

Speaking at the local radio station, Mr. Crawford said, “It became very fast.”

The CFs warned that the two “scars” around Ridas were a high risk of flash development, as the burned soil remaining behind last year’s fire would be “as water as the pavement”.

In June 2024, southern New Mexico suffered from fires. Rudas was evacuated when two fires burned approximately 10,000 hectares (25,000 hectares) on both sides of the village.

Two people were killed and hundreds of homes were destroyed.

The following reports state that the risk of the flood outbreak will be increased by at least two years from the fires, and the likelihood of significant floods in the area “increased significantly”.
