At least five people were killed after militants opened fire on a group of tourists who visit a popular beauty place in Kashmir with Indian released, BBC authorities said.
The attack took place in the murgus, the picturesque city in the Himalayas, which is often described as “Switzerland of India”.
Omar Omar Abdullah Minister said the attack was “much greater than everything we saw was aimed at civilians in recent years.”
The reports state that a number of people were also injured as a result of the attack. The lieutenant of the region of Mana Singa said the army and police were located at the scene.
Mr. Abdullah condemned this attack, saying: “I am shocked by the borders of faith. This attack on our visitors is a frenzy.”
No group said they have become an attack, but a long -standing uprising in the Muslim majority region has occurred in the Muslim Most region, although the violence has decreased in recent years.
