At least 28 people died in a plane crash in South Korea


A plane carrying 181 people crashed at an airport in South Korea, killing at least 28 people, Yonhap news agency reported.

The plane veered off the runway and crashed into a wall at Muan International Airport in the southwest of the country, the South Korean news agency reported.

The Jeju Air plane, which was carrying 175 passengers and six flight attendants, was reportedly returning from Thailand when the accident occurred during landing.

According to Yonhap, the rescue mission is continuing and one person has been found alive.
