At least 27 Palestinians who died Israeli fire near the aid center

According to local officials, at least 27 Palestinians were killed by Israeli when they tried to collect assistance near the allocation in Gaza.

The citizens were fired by tanks, quadrangular drones and helicopters near the circular al-Alam, about 1 km (0.6 miles) from the Center for Assistance, said Gaza Mahmud Basal, spokesman for civil defense agency.

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said his troops were shot after being identified by the suspects moving to them, “deviating from assigned access routes.”

Previously, Israel denied shooting Palestinians in a similar incident on Sunday, said by the Ministry of Health Hamas 31 people were killed and almost 200 were injured.

His refusal was in the immediate contradiction of what dozens of civil witnesses, NGOs and medical officials said.

Director of the Hospital Nasser in Han UNIS, Hotof Al-Hat, described 24 dead and 37 wounded who arrived with firearms on Tuesday morning, saying that Israeli troops opened fire on “a crowd of civilians waiting for help in Western Rapha.”

A foreign doctor working in the area said the BBC that it was “overall” from 3:48 (1:48 BST) and that they were overflowing with the victims.

The IDF statement states that his troops “do not interfere with the arrival of civilian residents at the place of humanitarian aid.”

“The warnings were released approximately half a million from the place of humanitarian aid distribution to several suspects who advanced to the troops in such a way that they threatened,” he added.

Israel does not allow international information organizations, including the BBC, in gas, which makes a check on what is happening on the territory.

Recently, the Humanitarian Gaza Fund (GHF), Israeli and the United States, which supports the replacement of UN agencies and other organizations, has recently been distributed.

The GHF system requires civilians to visit shopping centers located in the Israeli military control areas and staffed with armed security contractors.

The Palestinians are forced to walk long distances to collect help – and then wear it boxes weighing up to 20 kg (44 pounds).

The preliminary UN system assisted directly in the community – 400 sites across Gaza. He also spread the help of the population register, guaranteeing all food.

It seems the new system is running on the basis of the first arrival, which means that the Palestinians are going at night to secure the place in the front of the line – before the racing for collecting deliveries when the assistance site opens in a few hours.

GHF is subject to serious criticism of the UN bodies and the broad international community for “weapons” and go against humanitarian principles.

Responding to the incident on Tuesday, the group said: “While the distribution of assistance was carried out safely and without incidents on our site today, we understand that IDF is investigating whether a number of civilians have suffered after leaving the intended safe corridor and a closed military zone. It was an area far beyond our safety.”

The head of the UN Human Rights Wolf Turk said: “On the third day, people were killed around the place of help distribution.”

“The Palestinians were presented with the most gloomy elections: to die from hunger or bend, trying to access miserable foods available through the mechanism of humanitarian aid to Israel,” he said in a statement.

During the incident on Sunday, the Red Cross International Committee (ICRC) said its hospital in Rapha received a “mass tributary of losses” with 21 “announced dead on arrival”.

IDF noted that their conclusions from the initial investigation showed that his forces did not fired people when they were near the help center.

GHF also denied statements about injuries and casualties on his site and said they had been distributed by Hamas.

Responding to the incident on Sunday, UN Secretary -General Antonio Gutteres said in a statement: “I am delighted with reports of killed and wounded Palestinians, seeking help yesterday

“I call for an immediate and independent investigation into these events and for criminals who will be held accountable.”

Israel launched a military campaign in Gaza in response to Hamas’s cross -border attack on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people and took 251 people hostage.

At least 54,470 people have been killed in Gaza ever since, including 4 201 since Israel has restored its offensive, the Ministry of Health of the territory reports.
