At least 16 people were killed and more than 100 were injured after training at the Bangladesh Air Force crashed into a school campus in the capital.
Stage footage at the Milestone and College school in the northern suburb of Utta shows a huge fire and thick smoke.
Bangladeshi military confirmed that one of the planes was involved.
More than 50 people, including children and adults, were taken to the hospital with Berns, the National Institute of Bulf and Plastic Surgery told reporters.
The military statement said: “Bgi Bgi Bgi Bgi Bgi Bgi has crashed in Uttar. The plane flew at 13:06 (0706 GMT).”
Muhammad Yunus, leader of Bangladesh, said that “necessary measures” would be taken to investigate the cause of the incident and “provide all assistance”.
