At least 15 people are believed to remain alive and trapped under Bangkok’s cloud, which fell after a massive earthquake who got into Myanmar and Thailand.
Rescuers say they found signs of life and talked to some survivors under a 10-storey high mountain of garbage.
Features of construction workers remain disappeared on the spot when rescue efforts are sent on the second day.
Earthquake 7.7 Magnetic occurred on Friday afternoon, killed hundreds at the epicenter near Mandala, Myanmar. Its powerful impact could be felt in hundreds of miles in the Thai capital, as well as in China and India.
There were reports of widespread destruction in the Saigaing and Mandala region, including paid buildings and temple spiers. Myanmar officials say so far more than 1000 have been killed and 2376 were injured.
In Bangkok, thousands felt the effects of the earthquake when the buildings were swaying and the water broke out of the pools. Officials said 2,000 cracks appeared in the buildings.
But the capital has emerged largely pristinely-eliminated the unfinished headquarters in the office of the general auditor, which remains the main point of damage in Thailand.
The 30-storey skyscraper, located only opposite the tourist iconic market Chatuchak, showed a brilliant blue glass tower and steel.
The earthquake reduced it to the mountain of twisted reinforcement and destroyed concrete, painting the hundreds of rescue workers who drew around him.
Of the more than 400 on -site workers, at least 96 were missing and eight were killed and eight more were injured, according to recent official data.
Some are considered Burmese. Many Burmese migrants work in the Thai construction industry.
During Friday night and Saturday morning, drones, dogs, drunks, cranes and excavators were brought to help with rescue efforts.
By lunch, officials said they had found at least 15 people alive under the rubble, located from 5 to 10 m from the top of the pile.
When the “building collapsed like a pancake” – and continues to collapse – the rescue work was difficult, forcing officials to refrain from using heavy cars, one official said.
They said they were able to contact some of the survivors who “shouted and noisy”. Others were discovered by their movements and warmth of the body.
“We want to save them as soon as possible,” one official said. “Some signs of the life we received last night have since been silent. I want all Thai to pray so that they be strong.”
Officials do not yet know why the building collapsed and gave investigators a week.
In the dusty corner of the construction site, tents and ports were created to register the details of the missing relatives.
A solemn group of people, mostly women gathered in the tent in the brazen heat, were clouded with concern. Sometimes some burst into the sob.
“I wanted to come here desperately, I wanted to see her husband,” one woman who called her name is a Naroumel when her friend comforted her.
“I just need to see it once, in any condition in which it is.”
One man nicknamed Siew who was expecting to hear the news of the two disappeared cousins, said the BBC: “I think the likelihood of their survival is very slim … In my heart I don’t know whether they will survive.”
The best government officials promised to continue searching for the missing workers.
Deputy Prime Minister Anunine Chernverakul addressed journalists while visiting the site, saying: “We work tirelessly and still work around the clock to make sure Everbody is safe.”
“We will continue to work until no one remains inside … We always have hope.”
