At least 10 die in section outside the stadium in Bengalur, India

At least 10 people were killed in a section near the cricket stadium in the Indian city of Bengalur, in which the Victory Parade was held to mark the victory in the Indian Prime Minister.

Thousands of people – young and old – lined up on the streets on Wednesday to welcome the royal candidates of Bengalur (RCB) who defeated Punjab kings in the IPL Cricket final.

“About 10 people were killed in the stadium of the Chinnaswamy stadium,” said a high -ranking BBC Police official.

When the tragedy was impressed, the stadium gate “did not even open, but there were so many people who tried to advance through the small gate that had stamped,” the official said.

One of the police officers told the BBC that there were more than 200,000 people at the Victory Parade, but they only expected half that.

The RCB team arrived in a special flight to the Hal Old Airport, received by Deputy Chief Minister Karnataki DC Shivakum. They were taken to a hotel procession.
