Asia Cup 2025- Pakistan makes its international calendar

The Asia Cup 2025 is endangered, but there is no official confirmation of Asian Cricket Council (ACC), Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) or Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI). Especially, according to the PCB, a series of tri-nation plans with Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates (United Arab Emirates).

With the uncertainty about the Asia Cup 2025, Pakistan Cricracet Board is making alternative plans. According to a report from Cricetpakistan, the PCB is in discussions to organize a T20i series of Tri-Nation with Pakistan, Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates.

The bilateral series planned between Pakistan and Afghanistan can become a three -team tournament, including the United Arab Emirates. Conversations between the respective cricket councils are currently underway to finish the plan.

“According to sources, the initial conversations between the cricket advice in the three countries are in place to end the proposed series. The idea is to turn the bilateral series scheduled between Pakistan and Afghanistan into a tri-erection by adding the Arab Emirates to the mixture,” the report read.

2025 Cup in doubt in the midst of the tensions of India-Pakistan

Afghanistan is expected to travel in August Pakistan for a three -game T20I series. Pakistan Cricket Board is now exploring the possibility of expanding it to a tri-nation tournament.

The Asia Cup 2025, originally planned to take place in India this September, is still uncertain. In the event that the tournament is transferred to the Arab Emirates united by political or logistical problems, Tri-Series’ proposal could also be hosted to help Pakistan acclimatize local conditions before the main event.

United Arab Emirates stunned Bangladesh with the victory of the 2-1 T20i series at home

The United Arab Emirates won a 2-1 T20i series victory over Bangladesh and are gaining recognition as an emerging team. Its participation would not only bring variety to the tri-series, but it would also provide Pakistan and Afghanistan a valuable experience in neutral conditions.

In the meantime, Pakistan completed a 3-0 sweep at Casa T20i against Bangladesh and can travel to Dhaka next month, pending the end of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

The Pakistan staff directed by Salman Agha is scheduled to travel the USA in August for a series of white balls as part of its preparations for the T20 2026 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka.
