Pussycat dolls alum Ashley Roberts Recalls the difficult toll to be part of the best -selling women’s group.
Roberts, 43, joined the pop group that turned Burlesque popular in 2003, and eventually the band struck greatly on the music charts with their Nonconformist song “Not Cha” in 2005.

According to Roberts, things went so bad that by 2010 doctors feared she had a brain spread. He was stressful, fatigue and burned.

In 2010, the pussycat dolls separated roads after releasing two successful albums. However, Roberts left the group feeling the effects of previous years.
“And then when I finally got out of the dolls (in 2010), I got an eczema all over my legs, the eagle across my face and a stomach ulcer,” he said. “An acupuncturist told me then, ‘If you don’t scream, your body’s gonna scream for you.’ It was a manifestation of ‘going, going’ for years or ‘grinding, grinding, grinding,’ a concentration of being on the road at a time when no one was talking about anything really.
He added, “There was also this feeling that we could be replaced in some way. But also my own drive was growing up as a dance competitor. So it was a combination of both.”
The Pussycat dolls – Sans Thornton – announced a return in 2019 and release a new track, “ReAct.” However, a planned 2020 tour was canceled in the heart of the coronavirus pandemic, and the group collapsed again.
