Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo starts Wicked 2 Press in All-Black Looks

Ariana Grande and ERIVO Both took inspiration from Elphaba’s wardrobe for the beginning of the Wicked: for good Press Tour.

The stars each sport black-black ensembles while taking the stage at Cinemacon 2025 on Wednesday, April 2. Grande, 31, channeling Ginda female wardrobe via minidress-strap sports with a ruffled skirt. Erivo, 38, showed off her edgy style in a pure hooded black blouse, a bra that corresponds under flowering trousers. She found the look with pieces of gold jewelery – including a large hood -linked chain – and another of her Detailed nail designs.

The pair’s costumes were very different from those they were wearing Sinemacon last year. At the time Grande and Erivo continued with their trend of wearing their Wicked Signature Signature Pink and Green Colors Characters, with Grande wearing a flower minidress inspired by petal and erivo rocking a bright green top and shoes with a silver sequin skirt.

Wicked – Theaters struck in November 2024 – following Ginda and Elphaba as they went from competitive fellow friends to best friends during their time at Shiz’s magical University. After discovering that the wizard is a fraud looking to use Elphaba’s powers for his unworthy purposes, the film ends with Elphaba fleeing from the emerald city on his broomstick, while Ginda chooses to stay behind.

“Elphaba, I know you’re out there,” said Ginda before Elphaba dropped on the balcony of his friend’s emerald city castle Close. “This is about the wizard and I,” Elphaba answers, referring to his anthem of the same name Wicked.

As well as Elphaba writes “Our Wizard Lies” across the air, the teaser suggested on many main seconds of story (spoilers!), From Glinda walking down the aisle, to Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey) and his fellow guardians looking for Elphaba in the forest and the wizard (Jeff Goldblum) Ask Dorothy and his friends to bring him Elphaba’s sweep.
