Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur remained confident and optimistic despite the fact that his team faced a calendar ahead of the Cim for the Cim of the Premier League 2025 (WPL 2025). As the Mumbai Indians prepare for their fourth game in just six days, Harmanpreet Kaur believes that attached games have only strengthened their pace and the conscience of the game.
The WPL 2025 final will be the repetition of the 2023 season, as the Mumbai Indians will assume Delhi Capitals in the title title on Saturday, March 15 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. It will be Kaur and the fourth game of his girls in a week, while Meg Lanning and his team are fresh for the WPL 2025 final.
Delhi’s capitals have enjoyed a longer break since the last league game against Gujarat Giants on March 7. However, Kaur sees it as an advantage, as the Indian pattern believes that the time of constant play has helped his team to keep in pace and to sharpen their strategies and understand how to address different phases of the game, both with the BAT and the dance.
Harmanparet Kaur said on the eve of the final of the WPL 2025: “I see it positively. We know which bowl area, how to beat, how to execute in a better way and what are to be taken into account without losing too many doctors. I know we have played three games in four days, but we enjoyed the three games, and tomorrow it is an important game, and everyone awaits it.”
Harmanparet Kaur also praised the western Indies, Hayley Matthews, for his excellent performance at the women’s League 2025 Premier.
Hayley has also been impressive with the Bat for MI in the WPL 2025 in progress, scoring 304 runs in nine entries, including three half a century and a higher score of 77.
Kaur added: “She is someone who has always wanted to dump the team. She is someone who even wants to start with a smile; she always, you know, she wants to take the first. So, I think that someone who is so excited to get up all the time, I think that person, just imagine the confidence he has.”
Harmanpreet hopes that the Mumbai deep battle line will be a key advantage against Delhi’s capitals in the WPL 2025 final. She thinks having strong hits allows her to play more freedom, without the pressure of holding up.
With players like Amanjot Kaur, Harmanpreet said that as Captain he is mentally secured and that they are ready to take on the challenge with an aggressive mentality against Delhi in the final of Saturday.
Kaur signed by saying, “The team has a very long battle line. So it gave us confidence that I do not need to wait a little time and turn the attacks and play the big shots only when it is the right time. This has given me the leverage to play free cricket.”
