A tech billionaire and anti-aging influencer Brian Johnson clearly answered that he did not believe that he would die because of his lifestyle.
Johnson appeared on Frankly speaking podcast by The Free Press. with Barry Weiss on Tuesday to talk about his recent Netflix documentary Don’t Die: The Man Who Wanted to Live Forever, which details his rigorous regimen to achieve immortality.
Calling himself “quantitatively” the healthiest man in history, Johnson directly replied that he did not believe he would die, although it was unclear to him that he would live “forever.”
– Do you think you will die? Weiss asked.
“No,” Johnson replied.
Weiss continued, “Do you think you’ll live forever?”
“Forever is not a concept that the human mind can contemplate, but will we be able to radically extend life beyond our preconceived notions? Yes,” Johnson replied. “Is it going to happen before my natural limit right now? My life expectancy is probably around, I don’t know, 80, 90, things like that, if I keep my health up. But technology is advancing so fast that . . . the species will either survive or die at this point much sooner than my life expectancy increases.”
Johnson’s lifestyle includes going to bed at 8:30 p.m., observing nighttime erections, and even injecting his teenage son’s plasma into his bloodstream.

When asked if he was missing what makes life, Johnson clarified that humanity’s knowledge of life is still limited.
“Let’s just imagine that we’re conducting a thought experiment,” Johnson began, “we’re communicating with Homo erectus.” They existed a million years ago. And we say to Homo erectus: ‘Homo erectus, tell us what is the purpose of life?’ And they’ll grumble and say, “Well, it’s about hunting and gathering, and we’re going to move our tribe, we’re going to have another war.” They wouldn’t be able to tell you about quantum mechanics, or smart phones, or the electromagnetic spectrum, or this new art form of artificial intelligence. They are not clear concepts.’
He continued, “They wouldn’t be able to talk intelligently about what a beautiful life is. They are just so primitive in their thought processes. We are as primitive as Homo erectus as we are for AI. We are equally as primitive. We can no longer say anything sensible about the future, so the idea that we have somehow mastered existence and that we know the purpose of existence is so silly.
He added that it was important for people to remain “incredibly humble” when thinking about existence, and urged listeners to “dissolve our preconceived notions of what that means” when trying to achieve such a lifestyle.

Johnson spoke with Fox News Digital last year about his lifestyle and reduced his outlook to a simple “don’t die” mantra.

“When you’re a child a few steps away from having the power of the gods, in this case, artificial intelligence, the only enemy is death,” he added. “There is no other enemy. Now is not the time to create armies and conquer territories. This is a game in the previous centuries of Homo sapiens. Now this is not a game for us. So we’re just in a different era of being human, and we need to update our gameplay as a species to understand where we are.”
