Startup artificial intelligence anthropic said Netflix Chairman Reed Holdings joins his board of directors.
Hopings, which co-established Netflix in 1997 and held the post of CEO (and eventually co-director) by 2023, was appointed to the long-term payment of Anthropic exemption Wednesday.
Hopings, 64, spent others loud Council posts in the technology sector, including in MicrosoftBloomberg and Facebook that is now Meta.
Anthropic said Hopings brings “extensive experience” and “understanding how to provide companies providing technology to serve wider public purposes.”

Recently, Hopings donated $ 50 million to its College Alma Mater Bowdoin in Maine to help create AI research initiative. The program will study the ethical framework for technology, as well as how it will affect education, work and relationships.
The anthropic program stated that the program carefully reflects its own research priorities, the release said.
