Bangladesh has never won the Asia Cup

The tigers have been quite competitive in the Asia Cup tournaments over the years, but they have failed to put their hands on the trophy.

They made his debut in the Asia Cup in 1986, reaching two losses in the group stage and ending 3rd in 3 teams. They then ended up constantly at the bottom of their group, with minimal victories or not between 1988 and 2000.

They won their first game in the Asia Cup in 2004 and recorded their second victory in 2008. Their best performances took place in 2012, 2016 and 2018, when they arrived in the finals.

However, they lost against Pakistan in the 2012 final and against India in the final of 2016. In the 2018 edition of the Asia Cup, they again faced a defeat at the hands of men in blue in the shock of the summit.

Speaking of their most recent performances, they did not win games in the Asia Cup 2022 and only two games in the Asia Cup 2023.
