Musical icon Angelik Kidzh became the first black African performer to be chosen for a star on prestigious Hollywood Glory.
Kidjo, who comes from the West African country of Benin and won five Grammy awards, was one of 35 names announced within the 2026 class list.
The 64-year-old guy was recognized as the “Prime Minister” of Africa during a press conference announced on Wednesday.
Singer Miley Cyrus, actor Timato Chalamet, actress Dami Moore and former basketball player Shakil O’Nel also among those who will be honored with a star on the famous walk in the Los -Angeles.
Kidjo gets honored after creating music for more than four decades and releases 16 albums.
