The Lara Croft: Tomb Raider star, 49, and her daughter, 19, pose together on the red carpet while attending the Palm Springs International Film Awards on Friday, January 3.
Angelina wore a black halter neck dress and new bangs for the event, while Zahara opted for a white one-shoulder dress.
At the event at the Palm Springs Convention Center, Angelina was honored with the Palm Desert Achievement Award, Actress for her work in the Netflix film Maria.

The mother-daughter outing comes less than a week after Angelina and ex-husband Pitt finalized their divorce after eight years.
Angelina first filed for divorce in 2016, starting a long legal battle over ownership of their $164 million French winery, Château Miraval, and custody their children – Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara19, Silo18, Knox16 a Vivienne16. They settled their divorce on December 30 but have been legally single since 2019.
“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt She and the children left all the possessions they had shared with Mr Pitt, and has since focused on finding peace and healing for their family,” Jolie’s lawyer James Simon say Us in a statement. “This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Honestly, Angelina is exhausted, but she’s glad this one part is over.”
Pitt’s representative declined to confirm or comment.

“The sound of Zahara’s laughter,” Angelina told the outlet when asked what made her happy. “She’s one of those people who laughs with her whole body. Completely open and full of joy.”
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children have grown up under the spotlight. The former couple began dating in 2005, three years after the actress adopted her son, Maddox, from Cambodia. The actress also gushed about Zahara while talking to a Ugandan climate activist Vanessa Nakate for a TIME 100 Talk in a video interview in 2020.
“My daughter is from Ethiopia, one of my children … and I’ve learned so much from her,” Angelina said. “She is my family, but she is an extraordinary African woman and her connection to her country, her continent, belongs to her and it is something I just stand back in horror.”
