Extreme sports influencer Tonelli andreas He died on Tuesday, July 15, when cycling in the Dolomites. It was 48.
Tonelli died during a single excursion on Tuesday where approximately 200 meters (656 feet) fell in the Vallelunga area in Val Gardena, Italy, according to Italy The Sardinian union.
It was said that the influencer, a native of south Tyrol, Italy, was out for a late afternoon tour, sharing videos of his ride through social media. The last upload was posted at 7:15 pm and Tonelli showed up to 2,905 meters (9,531 feet) on Piz Dededa. (It was part of four days “Dolomites Enduro Traverse”Tour, according to her Instagram.)
In the Instagram story video, Tonelli smiled as he threw his bike over his shoulder and soaked in the scene, according to the outlet.
Two hours after post, Tonelli had not returned from the ride, which led one of his friends to call for help. Alpine Rescue used a helicopter to patrol the mountains throughout the night, per Italian media.
Tonelli’s body was seen in a gorge about 1 for a local time. Rescuers had to wait until the early hours of Wednesday, July 16, to restore the body due to heavy rainfall and freezing temperatures, L’Anione Sarda reported.

After leaving office post, Tonelli became a sporting and sports travel guide for adventures around the world. He joined the Norphan Ambassador team in 2023 where he promoted sustainability and environmental awareness.
Tonelli was the happiest on his bike, and while he traveled all over, he told Norrøna in her ambassador profile that the dolomites where he called home right now.
“First of all, the dolomites (are home), but since I also traveled seven months a year also all the other places around the world where I feel free and happy,” he explained.
When asked where his “favorite” was in the world, he responded, “my home mountains, the dolomites and the lofoten islands in Norway.”
