Andie MacDowell shares the diagnosis of piriformis syndrome: ‘fall’

Andie Macdowell opens up about being diagnosed with piriformis syndrome.

The Four weddings and funeral actress, 66, sharing on Thursday, January 23, episode of Drew Barrymore Show How she feared she needed a new hip after experiencing “shooting (pain) down my leg.”

MacDowell went on to share details about living with piriformis syndrome, which affects the piriformis muscle and can also compress the sciatic nerve, leading to pain in the buttocks and legs.

The Maiden shared actress with a host Drew Barrymore she had experienced pain while riding her peloton bike “as a crazy person.”

“I had bad and bad knees in the end and… I thought I was literally falling into pieces, as I would have to have new pieces,” he said, through USA today. “But the good news is that my pieces are right. My knees are good besides aging. They are older. I work very hard now doing PT. I don’t fall into pieces. ”

Macdowell added, “Thank God my hounds are right. I have to work my little bottom and my halls. I have to work the bottom and work my hip. I just do it every day. And it doesn’t hurt anymore. It’s a miracle. It is true. ”

The actress also spoke about finding her independence in her late 60s, and the advice she received from her daughter, the actress Margaret qualley30. (Macdowell also shares a girl Rainy35, and son Justin38, with ex-husband Paul qualley.)

“Once my children left, I felt this huge space in my life because they were so important to me,” said Macdowell. “Margaret was telling me that I was supposed to have my life time, but I wasn’t.”
