A few unexpected visitors dropped by New Carrie Bradshaw Gramercy Park Home – But some of the unexpected things were better than others.
During the chapter of Thursday, June 5, of And just like that Season 3, Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) writes in his dreamy manhattan garden when dozens of rats ran out of the bushes. Started, Carrie rushed inside and composed a long text to Aidan (John Corbett), joking she was hiding upstairs because she didn’t know if rats were able to climb stairs. Eventually, she removed the paragraph. (Icymi, Carrie and Aidan gave a five -year pause on their relationship so that he could focus on raising his sons in Virginia.)
In order to repair his “Rat Superhighway,” Carrie’s garden had to be completely cleared. Upstairs, Carrie was amazed by her cat, a shoe, before being surprised even more: Aidan appeared in her room.
Aidan explained that his youngest son, Wyatt, with his ex-wife, Kathy, for the night, so he decided to pay a visit to Carrie. “I felt strange about shutting you down when you called the night before,” he told Carrie, who tried unsuccessfully Starting some phone with Aidan while his son slept by his side during the Premiere Season 3.
Later, while the pair sat in the kitchen, Carrie used her rat problem to stimulate discussion with Aidan about the status of their complex relationships.
“So you felt strange about the night before and I’ve been feeling strange about something too,” started. “I’m trying to give you the place to be there for Wyatt and the boys, but sometimes things happen and I want to tell you about them. You know, like the rats. I wrote all this long text to you and I, I felt I couldn’t send it.”
Aidan insisted it was “crazy” for Carrie to feel that way, making it even more “lost” for their arrangement.
“I’m kinda missing, too,” Aidan admitted. “I was so upset and I believed guilty for being up here the Wyatt accident night, maybe I went a little over the top. That is, I’ve stayed at F *** ing Laser focusing on the situation at home. But you can text me – little things, big things. Call me, if it’s important.”
Carrie was teasing, “So, anytime? Only during business hours? Weekends? Do operators stand aside?” Aidan said she might not always, but assured her that she could “fire away” at any time.
Noting that the conversation made her “feel better” about her their relationshipCarrie explained, “That garden was the reason I said something. You know, I thought everything was perfect out there, but I didn’t look underneath. I’m trying to look under this alone.”
While Aidan admits that their situation is “far from perfect,” it will be joking that the couple are in “a zone without rats.”
