Carrie is officially on aidan turf during chapter 4 of And just like that – And things don’t go as intended.

Aidan is hesitant at first when Carrie tells him about Wyatt’s hopes of going to a VR experience, but it’s caves, and the group is trying to hand on killing a virtual zombie. The zombies are not the only ones that are hit as Wyatt smack Carrie on her head with his VR device by accident.
The vibrations appear on the up when Tate (Jason Schmidt) comes home for his birthday bash – for at least a while. Aidan’s ex-wife, Kathy (Rosemarie Dewitt), and her boyfriend tags on. Kathy takes the opportunity to thank Carrie for bringing Adderall for Wyatt from the Great Apple. When chatting with Kathy’s boyfriend, however, Carrie teaches that Aidan does not approve Wyatt taking medication for his behavioral issues. She tries to apologize to Aidan, who just wants to focus on celebrating Tate.
Later, the group plays an awkward game of apples to apples, which ends in Wyatt throws a fit because it did not win any rounds. He storms away, and while Aidan tries to motivate him back to the table Kathy argues that teenagers need time to “cool” – and says the explosion is a perfect example of why he needs medication. Wyatt runs outside and finishes cutting a window, shouting, “f *** you all!”
That night, Carrie returns to the guest house. “I am an apology,” said Aidan. “I should have never asked you to wait. I felt guilty because you came all the way down here and if I couldn’t ask you to wait, then what would he say about us? But it was too soon.”
Charrie shares an apology From her own, admitting that she did not “believe” Aidan at the beginning when he said he needed to prioritize his children. “But now I am. You need to be here and without me,” he said, reassuring Aidan they don’t break up – going as long as giving him a key their home park to assume his fears.

Later, Miranda is worried that joy bail on the plans they made “Meme -related,” but she still invites joy and a group of her friends to Carrie’s apartment (mainly without furniture) while she sets housing. Miranda faces joy for the meme before she leaves, asking if that is the reason that joy could “hardly make eye contact” with her all night. To her surprise, Joy admits that she is still attracted to Miranda despite her internet reproach. They make out on Garrie’s Stoop, which is caught on the ring camera.
