Secretary of Trade Howard Lutnita said on Wednesday that the rate of tariffs for Chinese imports of the United States will not change from its current levels, even if the trade transaction between Washington and Beijing will not yet be finalized.
Asked about “Moving Money” CNBC, when the current American tariffs in China are not going to change again, the lunar replied: “You can say for sure.”
President Donald Trump said on Wednesday morning that China’s duties were 55% after trade negotiators for two economic superpowers have concluded high -level talks in London.
But the White House official told NBC News shortly after Trump’s announcement that the 55% is not new. Most likely, it consists of cash 30% tariffs in China, as well as 25% of tariffs for certain products that were also on the spot.
