On Sunday, December 22, the actress ‘ Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars, America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn a Alexis Bledelreleased a statement in support of the star in the midst of her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.
“As friends and sisters of Blake for over twenty years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign to destroy her reputation,” the trio wrote in a joint statement share via Instagram after Lively accused Baldoni, 40, of sexual harassment on the set of It Ends With Usas well as orchestral and smear campaign against her.
The actresses continued, “Throughout filming It Ends With Uswe saw her muster the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and her colleagues on set, and it is frightening for us to read evidence of a deliberate and vindictive effort that followed to discredit her voice. The most disturbing is the unannounced exploitation of the stories of survivors of domestic violence to silence a woman who asked for safety. The hypocrisy is astounding.”

Lively, 37, starred alongside Ferrera, 40, Tamblyn, 41, and Bledel, 43, in 2005 Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and its follow-up in 2008 amid her rise to fame on Gossip Girl.
Tamblyn shared a personal note via her Instagram Stories on Sunday, saying she was “confident” in Lively amid the alleged on-set difficulties she experienced while making. It Ends With Us.

In s a lawsuit has been filed with the California Department of Civil Complaints on Friday, December 20, Lively Baldoni, accused her It Ends With Us costar and director, of sexual harassment on the set of the film and carrying out a “social manipulation” campaign to damage her reputation.
In a statement to Us WeeklyBaldoni lawyer, Bryan Freedmanhe said Lively’s accusations were “absolutely false, outrageous and deliberately salacious.” Freedman claimed that Lively sued to “fix her negative reputation” and “remake a narrative” regarding the film’s production. Freedman further alleged that Lively made “multiple demands and threats” during filming It Ends With Usincluding “threatening not to show up to set, threatening not to promote the film, ultimately leading to its demise during release, if her demands were not met.”
In a statement to The New York Times published Saturday, December 21, Lively denied any involvement in spreading negative information about Baldoni. “I hope my legal action will help pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about wrongdoing and help protect others who may be targeted,” he said.
