“When I started thinking about what an entertainer would be perfect for dinner this year, Amber was at the top of my list right away,” said Daniels in February statement. “She has the ability to walk the line between blistering and humor commentary in stimulating her audience to think about the important issues of the day. I love her and honor to say yes.”

He added, “Amber’s unique talents are the ideal fit for this current current political and cultural climate. Her perspective will be right -handed with the dinner tradition of honoring the freedom of the press while roasting the most powerful people on both sides of the aisle and the journalists who cover them.”

Also, how could you forget that any of these things happened, you know what I mean?”

“Honestly, I don’t think it’s important for him in any way,” Ruffin said on Thursday, noting that she is currently in the dark about attendees. “I’m sure I will (have deteriorated) at some point. I know the news organizations that will attend. I don’t think the people confirm until a bit later.”

According to Ruffin, it was also instructed to keep any jokes and all its jokes fair and balanced.
