So You Think You Can Dance alum Allison Holker opens around the “triggering” discovery. she followed the late husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss‘ death. In a new interview with PeopleHolker, 36, revealed she found a “cornucopia” of drugs in Boss’s cupboard, including mushrooms and “other substances I had to look up on my phone.” Holker admitted it was a “really scary moment” to discover things she “didn’t know existed” in her own home. “Also it helped me process that he was going through so much and he was hiding so much,” she added, “and there must be a lot of shame in that.” Boss died by suicide aged 40 in December 2022, shortly after he and Holker had celebrated nine years of marriage. The couple shared daughter Zaia, 5, and son Maddox, 8, and Boss was the adoptive father of Holker’s eldest daughter, Weslie, 16. Holker will continue to share details about Boss’s death and her personal grieving process in her upcoming book, So Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Lightout February 4.
