Have you ever wondered what the royal family is listening to during their dormant time?
Now you don’t have to guess, like King Charles III He released his own personal playlist on Apple Music to mark Commonwealth Day on Monday, March 10.
The playlist, called Her Majesty King Charles III playlistIncludes some of the king’s favorite artists including Every Marley. Kylie Minogue and Grace Jones.
“Throughout my life, music has meant a lot to me. I know that is also true of so many others, ”said Charles, 76, in a video message publishing the project on Friday, March 7.
“He has that wonderful ability to bring back happy memories overflowing from the deepest niches of our memory, to comfort us at times of sadness, and to take us to distant places. But perhaps, above all, it can raise our spirit to such an extent, and more than that when it comes together to celebrate. That is, it brings us joy, ”he added.
The king revealed his playlist in the special range of Apple Music 1 Radio called, The king’s musical roombroadcast on Monday. The show started by playing Bob Marley & The Wailers, noting that he once met Marley.
“Bob Marley would have been 80 this year,” said Charles. “I remember when he came to London to perform when I was a lot younger, and I met him in some event … that wonderful, infectious energy he had of course, but also his deep sincerity and intense concern for his community.”

The king also recorded personal presentations for the songs at Buckingham Palace and shared stories about his experiences with some of the artists.
“The King’s Music Room is sure to surprise and enchant music fans everywhere, revealing a more personal side to its grandeur,” a statement on the Royal website reads.
