Alex Cooper not holding back in terms of detailing her hurricane success in the upcoming Call Hi Alex Docuseries.
Cooper, 30, launched the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in 2018 under the Barstool Sports umbrella. After some big drama (more on that in a moment), Cooper separated roads with ex -fos Dave PortnoyBut now he prepares for appearance in Call Hi Alex.
“Podcasting at the time was a field dominated by men,” Portnoy, 48, noted short in the Call Hi Alex Trailer, released on Tuesday, June 3. (Her fellow -gyn -coworker Barstool Kevin Clancy about to appear in the Docuseries too.)
The first two years of “Call Daddy Challenge” included Cooper alongside former -cohost Sofia Franklyn.
“It was the largest show in the world,” Cooper could be heard saying back Tuesday. “But the whole thing shattered.”
To make a long story short, Cooper and Franklyn signed a three -year deal with Barstool, increasing their wages each year. Following the success of the show, they both got up, and Cooper hit an additional salary for undertaking the podcast production side. Franklyn’s love at the time is alleged to have started shopping the show to other networks. Eventually, Portnoy got the “roof meeting” with the two women, offered them $ 500,000 and the ownership of the show. Cooper agreed, Franklyn did not. Cooper remained in Barstool until June 2021. She is now with Siriusxm.
Changing a “Call Her Dady” to make Cooper appears to be a “single dad” in the main focus of the two -episode docuseries, which is about to be shown for the first time through Hulu on Tuesday, June 10.
“If I’m vulnerable make people feel connected and see them, then I’m doing my job,” Cooper said in the trailer. “We try to make women feel free. We want them to feel like they are respected and seen and heard. I have so much more I want to do, and I just got started.”
Aside from Cooper’s life story, it will also offer fans behind the scenes a behind -the -scenes on its 2024 Ill ride. (Cooper’s parents will also be addressed in the Docuseries.)
“I overheats make sure everything sounds good and looks good and it’s perfect, but the imperfection in the show is what makes it even more,” Cooper noted in the trailer.
Cooper offered similar feelings when chatting with Weekly US only in December 2024In front of its sick hydration launch.
“I want to be part of the conversation,” he said. “I always want women to go for what they want, even if only men have occupied that job in the past.”
