Alex Cooper spoke after additional allegations were made about sexual misconduct within the University of Boston’s women’s football program.
Cooper, 30, who played in between 2013 and 2015, responded to a story in the Boston Globe On Thursday, June 26, where he accused current and former players who had been a former coach Casey Brown of inappropriate behavior.
In particular, one former player claimed that Casey sent video photos of the athlete competing in a game that included “Moaning Sounds” from the coach.
“You have a coach masturbating to player game tape,” Cooper wrote through his Instagram story on Thursday.
Coop charged former coach Nancy Feldman of sexual harassment In his recent Hulu Docuseries, Call me Alex. Feldman retired in 2022.
Earlier this month, the University of Boston Respond to Cooper’s claims against Feldman, saying that the school has “Zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment.”
The host opened a “Call Challenge Daddy” podcast for her experiences with Casey on Thursday.
“Casey Brown was my then assistant trainer,” wrote Cooper through his Instagram story, sharing a link to the Boston Globe Story. “Nancy sexually watched me harassment and abused his power … and now he finally came out he went on to make himself when he became head coach in. I am disgusted but unfortunately I am not surprised.
According to the GlobeAt least 18 football players noted similar allegations from Casey’s harassment to the University’s Equal Opportunities Office last year.
The coach was put on holiday in the middle of last season and resigned in December 2024 after he commissioned an investigation into complaints by the football players.
In a statement to the GlobeCasey “strongly” denied the charges.
Boston University said they found “no policy offenses and no evidence of sexual harassment” during their investigation into the allegations against Casey, who criticized Cooper.
“After allll these women are coming on… Boston University stands by their statement,” Cooper wrote through his Instagram story.
Cooper tagged his Alma Mater in another slide and wrote, “What exactly do you need to happen to another student athlete so you (i) stand up and protect and protect all these women ???
“I feel unwell and angry,” Cooper wrote in another slide. “How do we continue to fail to protect women. This is honest. And it’s not just sport everywhere. For anyone who, understandably, is afraid to come forward but want to tell their story, my DMS is open ❤️.”
Reflecting on telling his story, Cooper said “The last few weeks have been a lot.”
“It’s been very difficult and emotionally coming on but now I want to say – to all the victims, I’m sorry,” Cooper wrote through his Instagram story on Thursday. “Seeing this develops and more and more women are getting on with their experience with Nancy Feldman heartbreak.
He continued, “Hopefully Boston University will look at their organization and make changes to make sure this never happens to another athlete on that campus again.”
