Ovechkin entered the game that requires two to tie, and three to become a new king that covers a goal. He lit a lamp only four minutes of playing against Chicago Blackhax.
A little more than five minutes in the third period of the capital went to the game of power, and Ovechkin took advantage of the pass and squeezed past the Spencer Knit.
The players of the capital invaded the ice when Ovechkin got a loud and long ovation.
Greek attended a game with more than 13 minutes.
Ovechkin was drafted from the first overall choice in Washington in 2004, but from the blocking his debut was postponed.
In its 20th season, the NHL was the 41st year of Ovechkin, who ranks third in the NHL for only Leon Droisait and William Nelland.

Alexei Ovechkin chances: When will he beat Wayne Greek?
This is the 14th season in which Avechkin’s career scored 40 goals. If the league had no blocking in 2012-13, he probably had 15 of these seasons. Although, he headed the league that year with 32 goals. He headed the NHL in the heads nine times.
What is more impressive, this Ovechkin missed almost two months this season with a broken leg.
Last season, Ovechkin seemed slowed down by scoring 31 goals in 79 games. He may have got the juice knowing that this season he could break the record.
While Ovechkin breaks records, the capitals are applicants for the Stanley Cup. 105 points ranked second in the NHL.
