Alec Baldwin refuses to appear for next week’s deposition, where he is supposed to be questioned for fatal shooting Hutchins on the set of his film Rug. Weekly US can report only.
On Wednesday, September 10, Baldwin’s legal team filed a court docks opposed the deposition scheduled by SERGE SVETNOYwho was a gaffer on the Western 2024 film.
In a new court docks, Baldwin said Svetnoy was planning to overthrow him on Friday, September 19. The actor said that this conflict had previously agreed that he was overthrown once and that transcript would be used for the legal proceedings of Svetnoy and that another legal law was filed over the film in New Mexico.
Baldwin’s team told Svetnoy on August 28 that the scheduled deposition would not move forward. They explained the plaintiffs in the other case that suits Baldwin that he did not agree to allow Baldwin to be overthrown once.

Gilbert Carrasquillo/GC imagesTherefore, the actor said he would not sit for any deposits until everyone agreed that only one time had to be questioned for both cases. Baldwin said that once the court signed at his request, he will arrange his deposition at a convenient date and time to mutual.
Svetnoy filed a suit in 2021 against Baldwin, 67, who was a producer on the film, and the other producers involved emotional distress. He detailed how his friend Hutchins watched dying on October 21, 2021, after she was shot by a gun caught by Baldwin that he was not supposed to have real bullets in it.
Baldwin denied every allegation of wrongdoing. He moved to reject the case.
He face criminal charges over the incident.

Olivia Wong/Getty imagesOn social media, Svetnoy accused “negligence and unprofessionalism” of leading to the death of Hutchins. In his suit, Svetnory claimed he suffered “serious emotional distress” because the bullet was almost hit.
In response to the legal case, Baldwin’s lawyer wrote, “Accidental shooting took the life of the cinematographer Hutchins on a film set just outside Santa Fe, New Mexico. He left after a husband, Matthew Hutchinsand a son, who lived in California. They filed claims in New Mexico for wrongdoing and losing a consortium. “
Baldwin’s lawyer explained the actor Has reached a settlement with Hutchins’ husband.
His lawyer added, “That should have been the end of the matter. But it wasn’t. Serge Svetnoy filed this legal case, claiming that injuries were based only on his close only when the prop gun went away and the living round – he should not have been in the gun and those responsible for him had just told Mr Baldwin.
Baldwin’s lawyer continued, “He had no physical injury. But he claims to have suffered a thought. That’s understandable. The same can be said for many people on the set that day.”
However, Baldwin denied that he was liable for the alleged compensation he suffered.
