Almost four years after Afghanistan fell into control of the Taliban, the Islamic country continues to welcome tourists and sees a Last increase in travel.
The Taliban forces captured the capital of Kabul on August 15, 2021 after the chaotic withdrawal of US troops under Baden’s administration.
Deputy Minister of Tourism Kudratula Jamal recently told the Associated Press (AP) that nearly 9,000 foreign visitors were in Afghanistan last year, and 3,000 tourists in the first three months of this year.
“Tourism brings a lot of benefits to the country,” he said. “We have considered these advantages and strive for our nation to take full advantage.”
One of the first Afghan women’s guides recently conducted a group through National Museum Afghanistan – the group consisted of all women.

Another woman in the group posted a video about her recent trip to Tiktok. She closed the video: “The study of the nuance and the complex life of Afghan women in the context and the study of all this beautiful land can offer.”
The US State Department, however, is very clear. It lists trips to Afghanistan as “Recommendations on travel Level 4: Do not travel ” – warning about civil unrest, crime, terrorism, risk of illegal detention, abduction and limited medical institutions.

“Travelers of US citizens to Afghanistan have been illegally detained for months and even years,” the press secretary said. “We remind all of us civilian travelers that no adventures and rest are worth the price of your freedom.”

The photographer for travel posted a resume of his trip, saying that she was “one of the first tourists who visited the country after the Taliban absorption.”
She added in the video Tiktok, which was viewed more than 56,000 times: “I was completely undermined by the incredible hospitality of the locals, Amazing food And beautiful scenery. “

A popular solo traveler and a social media creator posted a video about their trip to Afghanistan, writing: “I know that many people have ambiguous feelings about travel in Afghanistan, but frankly, I had a strange time as a solo traveler.”

Another Tiktok video, which scored almost half a million likes, shows that the Australian traveler on the food market.

Bahari’s manice, Ambassador of Afghanistan to Austria, said Fox News Digital that the promotion of the Taliban tourism is an attempt to “manage image”.
“As a person who lived and worked in Afghanistan, I can say about it: what is experiencing this female influence is not a representative life in Afghanistan,” Bakhtar said.
She added: “The Taliban refers to foreign women in a different and frequent courtesy because they serve as a goal in the regime’s public relations strategy.”
