9-1 and The walking dead Actress Kelley Mack has died at the age of 33.
“With indelible sadness we proclaim the death of our beloved Kelley,” announced the sister of Mack, Kathryn, through Chicago Med Alum’s Instagram page On Tuesday, August 5.
The post shared that Mack “passed peacefully” on Saturday, August 2. Her mother Kristen and Aunt Karen were present at the time of her death.
“Kelley has already come to many of her loved ones in the form of various butterflies 🦋 ❤️,” continued the post. “So many will see it from so many to depth that words cannot express.”
Mack’s sister added that Mack appreciated those who had been supported over the years,
“She would want you all to know how much she loves you,” she read the message. “And like his sister, I want you all to know how brave that hard sob was, especially when she decided to make the leap to be reunited with God. I’m so f *** ing pride.

A celebration of life for Mack is scheduled for Saturday, August 16, in Ohio. A memorial taking place in Los Angeles will also be scheduled later.
Earlier this year, Mack updated her health battle as she finished her proton radiation treatment in March.

“I’m in Florida right now and I’ll be here until next week! It’s hard to adapt to a new environment after going to home order, but the mental and emotional support from my loved ones keeps me in mind, even when I feel physically out of a whack,” she wrote by Instagram at the time. “It’s a challenge that is very good for me, and the sun has been shining every day so far ☀️Overall, this journey has not been easy, but things are improving – improvements are hard to see when you’re in the thick of it. Mack was best known for his roles on The walking deadwhere he joined the cast in season 9 as Addy. The actress also appeared on season 8 Chicago Med where she played Penelope Jacobs. Made a gameo on 9-1 Back in 2019.
Most recently Mack starred in the upcoming movie General sides Joe Thomas and Rosa Robson. The film will be screened at Portland’s Cinema, Animation and Technology Festival on Sunday, August 10, and the NYC Cadwyn Film Festival on Monday, August 11.
