Woody Harrelson is the best superhero he never had Defenderand gives the phrase “Vigilante justice.” Through his portrayal of a man seriously but simple called Arthur Poppington who seeks to seek justice despite the fact that he does not have actual powers, Defender is an emotional journey that pays dividends unlike any other superhero film I have ever seen before. Far from being a big budget, you will be disappointed if you are looking for a FFIC action full of special effects and next -level combat choreography, but soon you will find that none of these things would even serve the storytelling, and we are better off without them.
Arthur Poppington is a defender
Defender First introduces us to his title character by interviewing Dr. Park (Sandra Oh), the woman tasked with assessing his psychological condition after he continues to attack a small business owner. Considered harmless because of his good intentions and mental disability, Arthur is dropped back on the streets under the condition that he stops pretending to be a superhero.
Arthur meets a drug addict called Angel (Kat Dennings), which he takes into his secret lair (the government construction depot in which he lives secretly) so that she can lie down low after clashing with a clashing with a corrupted policeman Dooney (Elias Koteas), which Arthur has a reason to believe that a bow industry is over.

As Arthur finds himself on the point not returned in DefenderHe never quit because, in his mind, he fights for the greatest good, and in many ways he is.
